A live-music restaurant in St. Regis Gardens, The Palm, built around 1960s and 70s soul.
Aretha is a live-music restaurant set in St. Regis Gardens at The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm, built around the sound of the 1960s and 70s and named for Aretha Franklin. The room runs two dinner shows a night before shifting into a late-night club set, open Tuesday through Sunday and closed Monday.
The interior centers on a rose gold bar and a central stage built for the house band, with retro-chic finishes and moody lighting through the dining room and a red carpet at the entrance.
The kitchen serves a menu built around Dover Sole Meuniere, Wagyu Beef Rossini, and Grilled Rock Lobster, alongside caviar and oysters. The poached egg with caviar, crispy potato, and Parmesan emulsion is the chef's own signature dish.
The first dinner show starts at 8:30 pm, a second set follows at 10:30 pm, and after 11:45 pm the room turns into a nightclub with a live DJ. Guests must be 21 or older after 10 pm, and the dress code is chic elegant, so sportswear, sneakers, shorts, and flip-flops are not admitted. Reservations run through Aretha's own SevenRooms page, and early tables are worth booking ahead for the first show.
