Asia Asia occupies the sixth floor of Pier 7 in Dubai Marina, inside Dubai Marina Mall on Sheikh Zayed Road. Its menu draws on the old Spice Route, spanning the Far East and the Middle East. It is one of several dining rooms inside Pier 7, a tower built for restaurants and bars on the marina waterfront, with a wraparound terrace over the water.
The room pairs a sushi counter and main dining floor with semi-private lounge nooks, finished in dark wood and brass with Geisha-inspired accents. Floor-to-ceiling glass opens the dining room onto the terrace, where rail-side tables look down the marina's tower line and the boats below.
The kitchen runs a robata grill and a sushi and sashimi program alongside its hot kitchen. Signatures include miso black cod, crispy aromatic duck with pancakes and hoisin, Mongolian wagyu nigiri, spider maki with soft-shell crab, and jasmine lamb chops with spicy Korean miso and burnt lemon. A five-course tasting menu is offered with an optional wine pairing, alongside a la carte robata, tempura, dim sum and maki.
Asia Asia runs a Tuesday ladies' night with a resident DJ, a Saturday brunch and a Sunday lunch service, on top of nightly a la carte dinner. Lounge and bar seating is restricted to guests 21 and over; diners under 21 are welcome in the restaurant until 8pm. Dress code is smart casual, with no sportswear, beachwear or open-toed shoes for men. Terrace, brunch and ladies' night tables book out ahead of the weekend.
