GAL is a Turkish-Mediterranean restaurant on the lobby level of Address Downtown, facing the Burj Khalifa on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard. The venue pairs an open kitchen with a terrace that looks straight at the tower, and turns into a live-entertainment room on the back half of the week.
The dining room mixes warm, Mediterranean-toned interiors with sleek modern finishes, built around an open kitchen that lets guests watch the cooking from their tables. The lobby-level terrace is the draw for the Burj Khalifa view, and the bar is backed by an extensive wine cellar.
The kitchen runs a Turkish-Mediterranean menu that leans on Ottoman-rooted dishes alongside contemporary plates. Named items on the current menu include Ossobuco, Black Truffle Veal Pappardelle, Burrata Begendi, Saslik grilled skewers, and Manti dumplings, alongside oysters, caviar, and Grade A5 Japanese Wagyu.
GAL is open nightly from 5:30 pm to 3 am. Live entertainment runs Thursday through Saturday from 8:30 pm to 1 am, with a DJ and violinist on Thursday and a fuller band adding saxophone and percussion on Friday and Saturday.
