Gitano holds a prime beachfront plot on J1 in Jumeirah, wrapped in a jungle-meets-beach envelope of hanging vines, wooden pergolas, and mosaic tiling that works as well by day as it does after dark. The Jungle Room offers shaded indoor seating under moody lantern lighting, while the open-air terrace and beachfront zone look out over the Arabian Gulf and a sparkling pool, with cabana seating available by the day.
The kitchen leans modern Mexican with global inflections, built on fresh seafood, raw plates and bold spice, and the room's energy lifts as the sun goes down and the terrace fills.
Signatures run deep. The Gitano Margarita (AED 75) mixes cucumber, rosemary and lime; the Hamachi Tostada (AED 100) carries fermented chilies, ginger and sesame oil. The Quesabirria (AED 125) is slow-roasted pulled short rib under melted chihuahua cheese with jalapeno and habanero, and the 300-gram wagyu Ribeye (AED 290) comes with jalapeno chimichurri, confit garlic and grilled scallions. The King Crab and Caviar botana (AED 155) pairs poached king crab with gochujang and nikkei rice, and Churros (AED 80) with Abuelita chocolate close out the menu.
Gitano is open from 11:00 to 01:00 Sunday through Thursday and to 02:00 on Friday and Saturday.
