HANU is a contemporary Korean restaurant at St. Regis Gardens on Palm Jumeirah, built around tableside charcoal grilling. It is the only restaurant in Dubai serving Hoengseong Hanwoo beef, alongside certified Japanese A5 Kobe beef, and pairs that premium butchery with a full Korean kitchen, not a grill-only format.
Every table in the main dining room is fitted with its own charcoal grill, and the room is built around that ritual: guests cook at the table as part of the meal, with no show kitchen to watch. A separate bar and lounge area serves Korean high balls and cocktails for guests who want to sit for drinks before or after dinner.
The centerpiece is Meat Me at the Grill, a chef's selection of four cuts served with banchan and a green leaf basket, alongside a la carte grill options that range from Yangyeom short rib galbi and charcoal-grilled wagyu bulgogi to Hanwoo 1++ striploin and Japanese A5 Kobe beef by the 100 grams. Beyond the grill, the kitchen turns out kimchi pancake, seafood pancake, japanese A5 brisket soybean stew, kimchi paella and a truffle wagyu beef pot, plus an Omakase option for guests who want the kitchen to choose.
Given the Kobe and Hanwoo pricing, this reads as a special-occasion room, not a casual weeknight stop, and dinner reservations through SevenRooms are worth locking in ahead for weekend nights. Doors open at 6 PM for dinner service every night, with a Saturday lunch sitting added from 1 to 4 PM.
