Iliana is a Greek restaurant on the beachfront at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Umm Suqeim, Dubai, its name Greek for 'ray of light' or 'sun'. Head Chef Andreas Gkipalis, who trained at Michelin-starred kitchens before joining the resort, builds the menu around a Mykonian-inspired reading of Greek cooking, served open to the sea breeze along the shoreline.
The dining room and veranda lean into whitewashed tones, sandy hues and natural textures, with woven chairs and neutral stoneware echoing the simplicity of the Aegean islands, all facing views toward Burj Al Arab and the Arabian Gulf. Iliana Rooftop, an elevated lounge for Greek dining and cocktails set to Mykonian-inspired music, opened above the restaurant in November 2025 and operates seasonally.
The kitchen's fish market runs to whole seabass, turbot and langoustines grilled or baked in salt, alongside signature plates such as a dry-aged beef tomahawk, lamb chops with aubergine puree, and grilled octopus with fava cream. Pasta includes a Canadian lobster 'Pandesia' seafood pasta and a Mykonian truffle linguine, and the raw bar offers a Beluga caviar selection. A classic Greek salad with barrel-aged feta anchors the starters.
Iliana is open daily, lunch from noon to 4pm in smart casual dress and dinner from 6pm to 11pm in elegant attire; children are welcome until 7pm, after which the dining room is for guests seven and older. Reservations run through Iliana's own SevenRooms booking page.
