Chef Dani Garcia's fire-grill restaurant at St Regis Gardens on The Palm Tower.
Lena is chef Dani Garcia's fire-grill restaurant at St Regis Gardens, on top of The Palm Tower on Palm Jumeirah. It opened in December 2023 as Garcia's first Dubai restaurant, and the name is Spanish for firewood, a nod to the wood-fired grill that runs the kitchen.
The dining room sits within St Regis Gardens, the rooftop dining terrace spread across the tower, with a covered indoor room and an outdoor terrace looking out over the Palm and the Gulf. Lena runs an alfresco lunch on the terrace on Saturdays and Sundays from noon, alongside its regular evening service.
The kitchen works almost entirely off the wood-fired grill: starters include a truffle steak tartare, smoked burrata and a Marbella-style fried chicken, while the mains run from grilled sea bass and octopus on the grill to a katsu-style Bull Burger built as a tribute to Garcia's own 3-star Michelin burger. The wood-fired steaks range from a 300-gram picana and 600-gram Stockyard Gold Label ribeye up to a 1-kilogram Kiwami porterhouse of Wagyu 9+ finished with miso and wasabi.
Lena is closed Monday and Tuesday, opens for dinner only Wednesday and Thursday, and adds weekend lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Reservations run through the restaurant's own SevenRooms page, and Thursday nights carry a dedicated Girls Night format.
