On The Record opened at Park MGM on December 28, 2018, hidden behind a working record store entrance off the main casino floor. It is about 11,000 square feet and built as a series of discoveries: three rooms across indoor and outdoor space, three hidden karaoke rooms themed to the '70s, '80s and '90s, and the Vinyl Parlor, a hidden cocktail room.
The Main Room is where the dancing happens, with a vintage Rolls Royce DJ booth, a stage that appears behind the bar and music-themed pinball machines. The Living Room has '70s decor, a bar and couches by a fireplace, and it opens onto the Patio, where a 1963 double-decker bus works as a bar and DJ booth under the open sky. That structure is the appeal: it suits a group that wants somewhere to move through across a few hours.
