Selene opened in autumn 2024 on Winsley Street, just off Oxford Circus, inside the Mappin House building. The theme runs on Greek mythology, and the venue is built across four connected spaces designed for a late-arriving crowd.
The main floor is Signature Room Selene, the anchor space for the night and where most of the dancing happens. Grand Room Helios sits alongside it as a second room built around house music, giving groups a place to split off without leaving the building. Intimate Room Late Lounge offers a quieter, closer setting away from the main floor for conversation and a slower pace. Tucked within the venue is a Private Alley VIP Bowling Alley, a hidden space for guests who want something outside the usual club format.
Selene keeps a tighter week than most central London rooms: the club opens Friday and Saturday from 11 PM to 6 AM, and Sunday from 11 PM to 4 AM, staying closed the rest of the week. Both nights lean toward a later start, so a table booked for after midnight sees the room at its fullest, and the Friday and Saturday hours run well into the following morning while Sunday wraps up earlier.
