Pirana runs 110 seats in a subterranean room beneath St James's Street in Mayfair, designed by Strongarm Hospitality, the group behind The London REIGN and TABU, and opened in 2024. Neon-lit caverns, cascading vines, and velvet booths spread across the main floor, flanked by a front bar for aperitivos and a floating private-dining pod that overlooks the central stage, where staff wield sparklers for the dramatic dish unveilings.
The kitchen is led by chef Mark Morrans, formerly of Nobu and MNKY HSE, and the menu is Nikkei, a Japanese-Peruvian fusion.
