SUSHISAMBA sits on the 38th and 39th floors of Heron Tower at 110 Bishopsgate, and you feel it the moment the glass elevator opens. It pairs a genuine scene with the highest outdoor dining terraces in Europe and 360-degree views over the City, built for the occasion dinner, not a quiet catch-up. The design leans into an earth-to-sky motif: pendulum lights strung through a bamboo ceiling, bright orange banquettes, hanging plants, and black-and-white flooring that gives the main room a gallery-like feel against floor-to-ceiling skyline windows. On the 39th floor, the SAMBA ROOM cocktail bar brings a gilded, mirrored entrance and a central bar to the space. The energy runs high and social, with DJs and a well-dressed City crowd that builds through the night.
The cooking is Nikkei, an inventive culmination of Japan, Brazil, and Peru, split across sushi, a robata charcoal grill, and Peruvian small plates.
