Two-star Bermondsey dining from the ex-Fat Duck team
Trivet holds two Michelin stars on a quiet Bermondsey side street a few minutes' walk from London Bridge, and it wears them more lightly than almost any restaurant at that level. It is the room Jonny Lake and Isa Bal built after years together at The Fat Duck, where Lake ran the kitchen as head chef and Bal was the group's head sommelier and a former Best Sommelier of Europe.
The space is warmer than the star count suggests: Scandi-leaning wood paneling, an open kitchen behind glass, yellow leather banquettes, and a generous marble-topped bar with brass shelving where you can sit for a glass and a snack. A private dining room, The Mustard Room, handles smaller groups, and a summer terrace looks over Snowsfields. Chefs work the pass in full view while service keeps the formality light and
Trivet takes reservations through OpenTable. This MyRSVP guide covers the room, what it is known for and when to go in London; use the booking link on this page to reserve direct.
