71Above sits on the 71st floor of the U.S. Bank Tower, nearly 1,000 feet above downtown Los Angeles, and when it opened in 2016 it was the highest restaurant west of the Mississippi.
The circular dining room wraps guests in 360-degree floor-to-ceiling windows: the Pacific and Malibu stretch one way, the San Gabriel Mountains and Dodger Stadium the other. Early seatings catch the sunset before the city resolves into a glittering grid after dark. Restaurateur Emil Eyvazoff conceived the space, and the interior stays deliberately understated, with neutral tones, warm wood, and lighting that dims to let the exterior glow take over. Three zones, the main dining room, a central bar, and private rooms, flex for couples and larger groups alike.
