LAVO Mexico City is Tao Group Hospitality's coastal Italian room, brought to Mexico with local partner Dinar and opened at street level in Paseo Arcos Bosques. It carries the same DNA as LAVO in Las Vegas, New York, London and Singapore: a restaurant engineered to turn into a party without ever stopping being a restaurant.
The kitchen makes its pasta in house and its pizza on whole-grain dough. Signatures include tagliatelle al limone finished with caviar, the wagyu meatball with ricotta that the brand is known for, and a salt-baked sea bass broken open at the table. The bar runs a full cocktail programme and a curated wine list, and the weekend brunch service, with its DJ and its endless-plates format, is the thing the room is really famous for.
