Open-air bayfront restaurant and live music venue in North Bay Village
Palm Tree Club runs along the North Bay Village waterfront at 1819 79th Street Causeway, out on Biscayne Bay a few minutes from Miami Beach. You get open sky, boat traffic and sunset over the water, which makes it a natural for a group lunch or an early dinner: birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette crews, friends in from out of town.
This is an open-air, bayfront restaurant dressed in tropical decor, part of a waterfront hotel built on the former Shuckers site. Guests can also arrive by water: the property's marina offers dock and dine service to the restaurant.
The menu is coastal American and easy to spread across a crowd. Start with the corvina ceviche, lobster sliders or crispy calamari, then work through tacos (blackened mahi, skirt steak or chipotle chicken), buffalo wings, crispy tenders and the Wagyu beef smash burger. Pan-seared salmon, spicy rigatoni and steak frites fill out dinner, and Key lime pie closes it.
Palm Tree Club also presents a separate, ticketed live music series on the bay, with dance acts such as Kygo, The Chainsmokers and Kaskade among the DJs it hosts. Shows run on Saturday afternoons from 4 PM, so a lunch-plus-show day is on the table when the calendar lines up.
