Mēdüzā Mediterrania · Restaurant · New York

Mediterranean cooking and late service on Hudson Street in the Meatpacking District.
Mēdüzā Mediterrania opened on Hudson Street in September 2023 and takes its name from the mythology of the Mediterranean rather than the cooking of any one country. It is a Noble 33 restaurant, the group behind Sparrow Italia, and the kitchen ranges across the region instead of settling anywhere in it.
The room is built for a long dinner rather than a quiet one. Contemporary lines sit in warm earthy tones, and the lighting, sound and temperature are tuned as deliberately as the menu. Service runs late by the standards of the neighborhood, to midnight early in the week, half past midnight on Wednesday and Thursday and half past one on Friday and Saturday.
The wine program is the quiet strength. Wine Spectator has recognized the list in both its 2025 and 2026 Restaurant Awards, for a cellar weighted toward Italy, France, Spain and California.
Happy hour runs Monday through Thursday from 5 to 6:30 PM, with cocktails at $9 and bites from $5. It is served bar-top to walk-ins only and is the one part of the restaurant that does not take a booking; tables are released up to twenty-one days ahead.
