Magic Hour sits on the 18th floor of the Moxy Times Square at 485 7th Avenue, billed as the city's largest all-season indoor and outdoor rooftop bar and built entirely for fun. Across 10,000 square feet it pairs a head-on view of the Empire State Building with a carousel, several bars, and live DJs. The layout works as three spaces in one, each with its own bar: the indoor Elephant Room lounge and two outdoor terraces. The East Terrace frames the Empire State Building straight on and draws the shot everyone comes for, while the West Terrace holds the carousel. Retractable roofs keep it open year-round while other NYC rooftops go dark for winter.
