Pastis is the reborn Meatpacking District brasserie that plays Paris straight, a buzzy all-day French bistro that works for morning coffee, a long weekend brunch, or the loud, glamorous dinner that kicks off a night out. Keith McNally's original 1999 landmark closed in 2014 and was revived in 2019 a few doors from its old address, this time with Philadelphia restaurateur Stephen Starr as partner, recreating the faded-Paris magic tile for tile.
The room was built to feel like a 1930s Parisian brasserie that has been open for a century.
