Steakhouse on the 55th floor of the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok
Bull and Bear is the Waldorf Astoria's steakhouse, perched on Level 55 on Ratchadamri Road. A signature golden staircase leads into a room of oxblood-red accents, ebony leather and deep wood tones, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing sweeping views of the city - a setting that reimagines the steakhouse as an event, not just a meal.
The design leans theatrical and clubby, all dark glamour and skyline, the kind of room that makes an occasion feel like one before the first course arrives. It is a destination dining room in the truest sense.
The kitchen specializes in premium dry-aged steaks and fresh seafood cooked over a custom charcoal grill, drawing bold, char-driven flavor to match the altitude. The list of cuts and sides is built for sharing and lingering, backed by a serious wine and cocktail program.
Squarely aimed at big occasions, it rewards a booking made in advance - it is OpenTable-bookable - and a table timed for dusk, when the city lights come up beyond the glass. Dress to impress, and choose it when the view and the sense of ceremony matter as much as the beef.
