Cadence by Dan Bark · Restaurant · Bangkok
One of Bangkok's most quietly ambitious fine-dining rooms, listed in the Michelin Guide
Cadence by Dan Bark is one of Bangkok's most quietly ambitious fine-dining rooms, listed in the Michelin Guide for a singular, chef-driven tasting menu. Tucked along Soi Pridi Banomyong in the leafy Ekkamai-Thonglor district, it trades the city's skyline theatrics for something more personal: an intimate dining room where each guest is walked through chef Dan Bark's evolving culinary narrative.
Korean-American by heritage and trained in the acclaimed kitchens of Chicago, Dan Bark built Cadence around a progressive style all his own. The multi-course journey moves with rhythm and balance, rooted in Western technique yet open to global flavors and textures. Courses arrive as precise compositions that reward attention, building toward a considered finale.
The room itself is elegant and understated, an artful mix of Western and Asian sensibility that lets the cooking hold the spotlight. Service is charming and smartly turned out, backed by a considered wine list and cocktail pairings.
For travelers chasing Bangkok's most ambitious tasting menus, Cadence pairs technique with genuine warmth, an evening built to linger long after the final course. Seating is limited and the tasting menu is the only format, so reservations are essential and best secured well ahead.
