Cannubi made history in 2026 as the first Italian restaurant in Thailand to earn a Michelin star, set on the lobby level of the reimagined Dusit Thani inside Dusit Central Park near Silom. It is the Bangkok project of Umberto Bombana, whose Hong Kong flagship Otto e Mezzo remains the only three-Michelin-starred Italian restaurant outside Italy, and it takes its name from the famed Cannubi hill of Barolo in Piedmont - a clear signal of where its heart lies.
