A manicured lawn leads to a Bauhaus-inspired space of clean geometric lines and floor-to-ceiling glass - routinely called one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Bangkok. Sculpture and greenery frame the villa, and the gallery bones of the building still show in the light and the calm.
Raised in Puglia, Martena cooks to a philosophy of minimalism, rarely more than three or four ingredients on a plate, each one made to pull its weight. The result is high-end Italian defined by lightness and precision, not heft, with pasta and seafood handled cleanly and the flavors left to speak.
It is a room for an occasion - design-led, refined, and unlike anything else in the city. Best enjoyed unhurried over the tasting format; book ahead, and allow time to take in the villa and grounds before dinner.
