Chef Ian Kittichai's contemporary Thai dining room inside the Movenpick BDMS Wellness Resort on Wireless Road
Khum Hom is chef Ian Kittichai's contemporary Thai dining room inside the Movenpick BDMS Wellness Resort on Wireless Road, a kitchen that has sat in the MICHELIN Guide since 2025. The premise is ambitious and unfussy at once: Thai cooking drawn from every region of the country, plated with fine-dining polish but rooted firmly in home-kitchen soul.
Set on the resort's lobby floor, the space is calm and unhurried, an easy room for a leisurely lunch or a relaxed dinner that suits the wellness resort built up around it.
The menu runs past two dozen dishes across the regions. Savory rice crackers with Andaman crab top the kao tung na pu, a banana blossom salad brings crisp fried catfish and sea bass with fresh herbs, and the Khum Hom fried chicken - a Southern-style air-fried chicken in the house spice marinade - has become a quiet table favorite. Tasting menus offer a guided route through the kitchen for first-timers.
Open daily for lunch and dinner, Khum Hom suits families, couples and anyone after serious Thai food without the theater. Tables can be booked directly on the restaurant's own site, while groups larger than eight are handled by phone, so call ahead for a celebration.
