Ms. Maria & Mr. Singh is Gaggan Anand's high-energy second concept in Ekamai, opened in 2020 and built on a playful fiction: a love story between the Mexican Ms. Maria and the Indian Mr. Singh, a nod to Anand and his own Mexican wife. The result is a maximalist mash-up of Mexican and Indian flavors served in a loud, colorful room.
The space is deliberately the opposite of a hushed tasting-menu shrine - bright, busy and made for a good time, with the volume up and the plates flying. It carries Anand's irreverent signature without the ceremony of his flagship.
