Le Du Kaan · Rooftop Bar · Bangkok

Chef Thitid "Ton" Tassanakajohn's rooftop Thai dining room and sky bar on the 56th floor of The Empire
Le Du Kaan is the rooftop chapter of Bangkok's most decorated modern Thai kitchen. It sits on the 56th floor of The Empire on South Sathorn Road, part of the EA Rooftop level, and it comes from Thitid "Ton" Tassanakajohn, the chef behind Le Du and Nusara and the only chef to hold two entries on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants.
The cooking is regional Thai served family style, built on produce brought in directly from farms and fishing communities across the four main regions of the country. "Kaan" points at craft, and the menu works through the regional Thai repertoire rather than a greatest-hits list, which is what separates it from the hotel dining rooms at the same altitude.
The floor is split. There is an indoor dining room for the full menu, a run of private dining rooms for closed groups, and the sky bar, which is the reason to come late. The bar runs to 1 AM and looks straight down the Sathorn corridor, so a dinner here can keep going without moving buildings.
It is one of the few rooms in Bangkok where a serious Thai tasting menu and a proper rooftop sit on the same floor. Book the dining room for the food, or the sky bar for the view and the back half of the evening.

Frequently asked about Le Du Kaan
How do I book a table at Le Du Kaan in Bangkok?
Submit the reservation request on this page and our Bangkok partner confirms your table, quotes any minimum spend in writing, and coordinates arrival before you commit. Your host opens the door on arrival so you walk straight to a ready table.
How much is a table at Le Du Kaan?
A table at Le Du Kaan depends on the night (weekends and event dates price highest), your group size, and where the table sits relative to the DJ booth and dance floor. Rather than a price that changes weekly, our Bangkok partner quotes your exact minimum spend in writing when confirming, so you know the cost before you arrive.
What is the dress code at Le Du Kaan?
Le Du Kaan keeps an upscale nightlife dress code: stylish, dressed-up attire. Avoid athletic wear, gym shoes, and overly casual looks. Your host manages the door with your table, and we confirm the current policy with your booking.
What time should I arrive at Le Du Kaan?
Table guests generally arrive as the room fills, with the peak on weekends. Your MyRSVP host coordinates a specific arrival window so you are not waiting in line.
