Amazon-basin fire and a late jungle lounge in DIFC
Amazonico Dubai is the Gulf edition of Sandro Silva's Latin American restaurant, first opened in Madrid and reworked here as a jungle-lit room in DIFC. It sits in the DIFC Pavilion in the Gate District, a dense, green, theatrical space that runs from lunch through to the early hours.
The menu roams across the Amazon basin and beyond: open-fire grills, ceviches and tiraditos, sushi and robata, and cuts of meat and whole fish cooked over charcoal. Plates arrive to share, heavy on smoke, citrus and chili, and the kitchen leans as much on presentation as it does on fire. The cocktail list is long and built around Latin spirits, tropical fruit and plenty of theater, and it runs deep into the night alongside the food.
