Peter Luger opened at Caesars Palace in the fall of 2023, the Brooklyn steakhouse's first U.S. location outside New York and its fourth worldwide, after the 1887 Williamsburg original, Great Neck and Tokyo. Jeffrey Beers International designed the room after Brooklyn, with exposed brick, wood paneling, oak tabletops and bronze chandeliers under a triple-height ceiling, and the servers wear bow ties.
The order is the steak for two, three or four, USDA Prime and dry-aged in the restaurant's own aging room below the dining floor, with Luger's sizzling extra-thick bacon to open. The classic sides are creamed spinach and Luger's German fried potatoes, the sliced tomatoes and onions come with Luger's Own Sauce, and dessert is the Holy Cow hot fudge sundae with house-made schlag.
Lunch runs Wednesday through Sunday from 11:30am, and it is the only time the Luger Burger, over half a pound of USDA Prime beef, is on the menu. The four-course Power Lunch, served until 3:30pm for $49.95, pairs a starter such as the bacon or a Caesar salad with the burger or another main, a side and the sundae. Monday and Tuesday are dinner only from 5pm, and the room closes at 10pm every night.
