STK Los Angeles moved within Westwood in May 2025, leaving the W Hotel for a larger room on Glendon Avenue in Westwood Village, and the new space leans into what the brand actually is: a steakhouse that behaves like a nightclub. Illuminated ribbons run across the ceiling and shift color with the time of day and the music, red bull sculptures and a white horn wall set the tone, and floor-to-ceiling windows let the daylight in before dinner.
The floor is split between the main dining room, with its white circular booths for larger parties, the bar and lounge, and two private dining rooms for more intimate events. The room is DJ-driven, and on Friday and Saturday dinner and late-night drinks run until midnight.
The cut list is the point of the menu and it is graded by size: small, medium and large formats across filet, strip and ribeye, with dry-aged bone-in cuts such as the porterhouse and the tomahawk for the table. The sides are where the room shows off: parmesan truffle fries, the corn pudding, the mac and cheese. There is a raw bar and a shellfish platter of oysters, clams, mussels, Dungeness crab and Maine lobster for a group that wants a longer opening.
It sits in Westwood Village minutes from UCLA, Wilshire Boulevard and the Wilshire theaters, and a pre-theater menu makes it a straightforward booking before a show as well as a night in its own right. Sunday brunch runs from 10am to 2pm.
