Kiki on the River is a modern Greek restaurant built right on the water on the Miami River, a room where dinner turns into a party without anyone leaving the table. It draws groups and celebrators who want Mykonos energy and a waterfront view in a single sitting.
The restaurant plays two parts in one night. Early in the evening it works as an upscale waterfront dinner; as the night goes on it flips into a full party with live DJs, festive soundtracks, twirling napkins, and dancing, and the doors stay open until 2 AM Wednesday through Sunday. Brunch runs Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 to 4:30 PM, and weekday happy hour is at the bar from 5 to 7 PM.
The cooking is modern Greek with Mediterranean range, led by Executive Chef Wladimir Arevalo. The pikilia platter brings hummus, tzatziki, htipiti, and taramasalata; the grilled octopus comes with Mediterranean chimichurri and capers; lavraki, a Mediterranean sea bass, can be ordered salt-crusted as a platter for the table; and the lobster pasta is linguini with ouzo, chives, and confit tomatoes.
Timing shapes the whole experience. Come early for the quieter, date-night side of the river, or later for the DJ-driven, dancing-on-the-water version. The dress code is elegant chic, with no hats, sportswear, beachwear, flip-flops, or slides, and after 10 PM the room is 21 and over.
