Italian steakhouse with live music nightly in Wynwood
Sparrow Italia turns an Italian steakhouse dinner into a full night out, set on the first floor of 255 NW 25th Street in the middle of Wynwood. It opened in October 2024 as the Miami sister to the Mayfair, London original, pairing fresh pastas, handmade pizzas, and prime cuts with live music every night.
The 8,700-square-foot space, with architecture by Kobi Karp and interiors by ICRAVE, is as much of a draw as the food: a sunken dining room framed by suspended wood arches, desaturated blue velvet, Venetian plaster, and brass detailing, all lit by candlelight. Once the band starts, the room tips from dinner into scene.
The cooking is built for sharing. Order around the pastas: the Spicy Rigatoni alla Vodka with buffalo mozzarella and Calabrian chili, the Truffle Cacio e Pepe, and the Lobster Linguine. The Butcher's Reserve holds cuts like the 12-ounce Calabrian chili wagyu New York strip and the 14-ounce truffle ribeye, alongside the truffle pizza, wagyu carpaccio with shaved black truffle, and a pistachio tiramisu to close.
Hours run Tuesday through Thursday from 6pm to 10pm, Friday 6pm to midnight, Saturday 5pm to midnight, and Sunday 5pm to 10pm; the room is closed Monday. Business casual attire is required, and guests under 16 are not seated after 7pm. Pizza by the slice is served in the bar and lounge. Aim for a later seating to catch the room at full volume with the band on, or an earlier one to hear the table.
