Chef Dominique Bouchet's one-MICHELIN-star French restaurant on the second floor of a Ginza 1-chome building
Dominique Bouchet Tokyo is chef Dominique Bouchet's French restaurant on the second floor of the Ginza Renga-dori Fukujin Building in Ginza 1-chome, with one MICHELIN star in the MICHELIN Guide Tokyo 2026. Its theme is evolving classics: traditional French cooking kept true to itself and given new sparkle. The restaurant opened in 2015.
Beyond the main dining room there are private and semi-private rooms and a wine cave used for aperitifs. Since March 2026 the private dining room has also hosted La Table du Chef, a chef's table for a few guests who watch each dish come together at close range.
Executive chef Sho Ito, who earlier ran the kitchen at Les Copains de Dominique Bouchet, leads the cooking. Dinner is built around three menus. Menu Heritage, eight plates at dinner, carries the techniques Bouchet wants to pass on, with his own innovation and playfulness. Menu Harmonie, seven plates, sets the grand chef's signature dish and Ito's pate en croute among seasonal Japanese ingredients. Menu Generations, seven plates, uses seasonal produce from Japan and France with the sensibility of a younger generation. Lunch serves Heritage and Generations at seven plates, and Oscietra caviar under a label bearing Bouchet's name is offered as an addition.
Lunch runs 12:00 to 15:30, last order 13:30, and dinner 18:00 to 23:00, last order 20:00. The restaurant closes on Wednesdays. The dress code is smart casual with tailored jackets for men, and jeans and T-shirts are turned away.
Address: Ginza Renga-dori Fukujin Building 2F, 1-5-6 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 104-0061, Tokyo
