L'Osier · Restaurant · Tokyo

A French restaurant in Ginza 7-chome, founded in 1973 and led by Executive Chef Olivier Chaignon.
L'Osier is a French restaurant in Ginza 7-chome, founded in 1973 and led today by Executive Chef Olivier Chaignon. It holds three MICHELIN stars in the MICHELIN Guide Tokyo 2026, and the kitchen pairs classical French technique with a stated commitment to sustainable gastronomy and fine ingredients from Japan and abroad.
The interior is by Pierre-Yves Rochon, who worked from five words: white, gold, transparency, glass and light. A spiral staircase winds down to the dining room, past an etched glass relief of Champagne bubbles and willows, the plant that gives L'Osier its name. The collection includes glass paste pieces by Salvador Dali and Jean Cocteau, Aubusson tapestries by Sonia Delaunay and a Rene Lalique candle stand. A private salon seats seven to ten.
Lunch and dinner are set menus. The Menu Degustation opens with Hokkaido kegani crab and Oscietra caviar, moves through shellfish from Himakajima island and Uwajima amadai cooked with its scales crisp, and arrives at royal pigeon, the breast roasted with buckwheat and the leg confit. Aged cheeses follow, then desserts ordered a la carte, such as a hazelnut souffle or a crepe flambee for two, and a trolley of sweets with coffee.
Lunch runs Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30, with last orders at 12:30, and dinner from 17:30, with last orders at 19:00. The restaurant closes on Sundays, Mondays and some national holidays. Jackets are required for gentlemen, and guests must be 13 or older.
Address: 7-5-5 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 104-0061, Tokyo
