French cooking on the seventh floor of Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi, led by Chef Stephen Lancaster.
Sezanne is the French restaurant on the seventh floor of Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi, in the Pacific Century Place tower in Marunouchi. Since April 2026 it has been led by Executive Chef Stephen Lancaster, who opened Poise in Singapore in 2022 after cooking at Midsummer House in Cambridge and Oaxen Krog in Stockholm. It is ranked No. 16 on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2026.
The dining room is by the designer Andre Fu, in a register the hotel calls relaxed luxury, and it faces an open show kitchen so the cooking plays out in full view. The Chef's Table is a private dining room with its own close view of the chefs at work.
The cooking applies refined French technique to Japanese seasonality. Lancaster reinterprets French classics through contemporary methods, with considered use of fermentation, aging and pickling, and the menus change with the seasons. Two menus are offered: Menu du Jour, an introduction to his cooking served at lunch, and Menu Sezanne, the full tasting with additional courses. An eclectic Champagne list and classical French desserts by Executive Pastry Chef Nicolas Maugard complete the meal.
Dinner is seated Wednesday to Sunday from 17:30, with last seating at 19:30, and lunch on Friday and Saturday from 11:30, with last seating at 13:00. Guests must be 13 or older, and gentlemen are asked to wear a jacket or a long-sleeved collared shirt with long pants and closed shoes.
Address: Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi 7F, Pacific Century Place, 1-11-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 100-6277, Tokyo
