Bellovisto · Rooftop Bar · Tokyo

Indoor bar on the 40th floor of Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, with live piano from 7 pm.
Bellovisto, styled Tower's Bar BELLOVISTO, is the bar on the 40th floor of Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel in Shibuya, the hotel's top floor and about 150 meters above the ground. It is an indoor bar built around the view, five minutes on foot from the west exit of JR Shibuya Station, and its counter looks out toward the Shinjuku skyscrapers.
The 118 seats are split into named areas: Legato, the bar counter facing the night view; Salon, a sofa area; Cocoon, a raised, enclosed nook for three to five; Nocturne, a row of sofas; Symphonie, pair seats wrapped by windows on two sides; and Opus, a private room for 8 to 20.
The list leans on Japanese whisky and spirits from around the world, served with seasonal small plates. Six signature cocktails retell the story of Shibuya, among them Smoky Valley, a Negroni twist built on hojicha gin with apple wood smoke, KAWAII Fizz, a pink strawberry and grapefruit take on the Paloma, and Greater SHIBUYA, a Mai Tai riff with Miyakojima rum and yuzu. The bar also serves an afternoon tea with free-flowing tea and a Champagne cocktail.
Live piano starts at 7 pm with four sets a night, the last ending at 11 pm Monday to Saturday, played by a rotation that includes Keith Williams and Moreno Bussoletti. The bar opens at 4 pm on weekdays and 1:30 pm at weekends and closes at midnight, or 11 pm on Sundays and holidays. Smart casual is the dress code, and guests under 20 are not admitted after 6 pm.
Address: Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel 40F, 26-1 Sakuragaokacho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-8512, Tokyo
