The Peak Lounge & Bar · Rooftop Bar · Tokyo

Glass-atrium lounge on the 41st floor of Park Hyatt Tokyo, with afternoon tea by day and cocktails at night.
The Peak Lounge & Bar is the lounge on the 41st floor of Park Hyatt Tokyo, in Shinjuku Park Tower in Nishi-Shinjuku. It serves afternoon tea by day and becomes a cocktail lounge at night. The hotel reopened in December 2025 after a 19-month restoration led by the Paris design studio Jouin Manku, and the lounge came back with a new cocktail list.
The space is an indoor glass atrium set around a grove of bamboo, with the Shinjuku skyline below and Mount Fuji in view on clear days. After dark the atrium turns quieter, with the city lights filling the glass.
The cocktail menu, Six Prefectures, One Skyline, builds each drink around Japanese ingredients. 1984 pairs Hokkaido's 9148 craft gin with Campari and Amaro Nonino, Yamatobi blends matcha from the Inokura tea farm with Grey Goose, goat milk and Frangelico, and Kogane Road mixes Kogane ginger syrup with Taketsuru Pure Malt and Kanosuke Peated. Bar food runs to snow crab and avocado tacos, Japanese beef sliders and Peak truffle fries. Afternoon tea comes from Executive Pastry Chef Julien Perrinet, with savories and sweets brought to the table on trolleys.
Live acoustic music plays in four sets from 6:00 pm to 9:45 pm, a duo from Thursday to Saturday and a solo performer from Sunday to Wednesday. The lounge opens at noon, and the bar takes last drink orders at 11:30 pm. Beach sandals, sportswear and sleeveless tops for men are not permitted.
