Bright, art-filled all-day cafe and dining room on Rama 1 Road in Pathum Wan
Chim Chim is a bright, art-filled all-day cafe and dining room on Rama 1 Road in Pathum Wan, tucked into the ground floor of the Siam@Siam Design Hotel and just a short stroll from Siam and the National Stadium BTS. It has become one of central Bangkok's most-loved casual tables, where bold color, greenery and playful design set the tone for relaxed, sharing-style meals.
The kitchen serves Italian-inspired comfort food with a creative local twist: stone-baked pizzas, handmade pastas and generously plated dishes designed to be passed around the table. Menus run from breakfast and lunch through dinner and a weekend brunch, so the room stays lively from morning coffee to evening aperitivo.
Drinks celebrate the best of Thai produce, from coffee by Roots and leaf teas by Monsoon Tea to fresh smoothies and cocktails. Desserts are a highlight, with photogenic tarts and pastries like cronuts and pain au chocolat, plus a rotating lineup of Chim's Kanom, Thai-inspired sweets that keep regulars coming back.
Welcoming, unpretentious and endlessly shareable, Chim Chim suits solo brunches, casual catch-ups and larger group celebrations alike. Reservations can be booked online, and larger parties are best arranged in advance.
