Iris & Wild Iris · Rooftop Bar · Bangkok

Rooftop restaurant and bar on the 29th and 30th floors of SO/ Bangkok, over Lumphini Park
High above Sathorn on the 29th and 30th floors of SO/ Bangkok, Iris & Wild Iris is the design hotel's rooftop restaurant and bar, a French and Italian Riviera fantasy suspended over the green expanse of Lumphini Park. It is a sun-washed coastal world of glass, greenery and Mediterranean blue, the park and the city's towers unfolding on every side.
Iris is the light-filled heart of it, an elegant glasshouse dining room wrapped in windows and trailing plants that opens onto an airy terrace one floor above. This is the Riviera by day, all citrus tones and easy elegance, built for unhurried meals that drift into golden-hour aperitivo. Sicilian chef Enrico Pantorno sends out contemporary Southern Italian plates: bright crudo, handmade pasta and ingredient-led dishes made for sharing.
After dark the mood shifts to Wild Iris, the rooftop's louder, later alter ego. As the sun drops behind the skyline the terrace fills with botanical, citrus-forward and bittersweet cocktails drawn from Southern European aperitivo culture, resident DJs take over, and the crowd settles in.
Iris pours from early evening until midnight, while Wild Iris keeps going into the small hours, a natural pairing for date nights and groups who want dinner and drinks under one open sky. Reserve ahead for terrace tables and prime sunset seating, especially at weekends when Bangkok's rooftop set comes out in force.
