Best Restaurants in Saint-Tropez 2026
A ranked guide to the best restaurants in Saint-Tropez for 2026, and how to plan the tables and the trip.
Why we wrote this guide
Dinner in Saint-Tropez is its own event. The village runs on a tight cluster of rooms that fill weeks ahead in July and August, from festive harbourside Italian to quiet Japanese minimalism to a couple of institutions that have anchored the same squares for decades. This is our guide to the best restaurants in Saint-Tropez for 2026, the rooms our guests ask us about most when they are planning the dinners around a beach-club day or a night at Les Caves du Roy. Every venue below is one we point guests toward, with the direct route to reserve on each venue page. Last updated July 2026.
A note on how booking works here: outside Las Vegas we do not hold restaurant tables. Several of these rooms you reserve directly on the venue's own page; for the rest, our Saint-Tropez team can point you to the right room and help with the table as a concierge courtesy. Either way, we build your beach clubs, pool days, and nights around the dinners.
The ranked guide
1. Noto
The festive Italian flagship on the harbour. Chef Emilio Giagnoni's southern-Italian room comes alive every evening with live musicians and a singer before a DJ takes it into the small hours, so dinner slides straight into the night. It is a room worth a dedicated evening, not a squeezed-in pre-club stop, and it carries a real high-season and Bastille Day draw. See Noto.
Best for: the big, celebratory Italian dinner that becomes the night out.
2. Cherry
Refined Italian meets the South of France, from Chef Pietro Volonte, who trained at Badrutt's Palace and under Gordon Ramsay. It is the more discreet, kitchen-forward pick, all polished decor and bold flavours, and it books dinner only, so plan ahead. See Cherry.
Best for: the guest who wants a serious Italian kitchen over a scene.
3. Kinugawa
Harbourfront Japanese minimalism on Quai Jean Jaures, the Saint-Tropez outpost of the long-running Paris Japanese name. Precise, calm, and a genuine change of pace from the Riviera-Italian rooms that dominate the village. See Kinugawa.
Best for: the night you want sushi and quiet precision instead of a party.
4. L'Opera
Glamour and a show. L'Opera pairs a culinary room with live entertainment, a dressed-up crowd, and the kind of theatrical dinner-into-late-night energy that suits a celebration. See L'Opera.
Best for: the celebration dinner that comes with a performance.
5. Le Cafe
The institution on Place des Lices, anchoring the village's most famous square since 1789. This is the classic, unpretentious Saint-Tropez sit-down, the one the regulars return to season after season. See Le Cafe.
Best for: the traditional, in-the-village dinner with real history.
6. Nao
A plane-tree terrace on Place des Lices, the coveted square at the heart of the village. Relaxed, leafy, and perfectly placed for an evening that starts with dinner and drifts into the town. See Nao.
Best for: the easy, well-placed terrace dinner in the middle of it all.
7. Gaio
The legendary Papagayo spot at the port, reborn as a Nikkei room (Japanese meets Peruvian) with cabaret and a late-night club. Dinner here is a full evening: fusion plates, a show, and a room that keeps going long after the plates clear. See Gaio.
Best for: the dinner-and-cabaret night that turns into a club.
8. Salama
A Saint-Tropez institution since 1999, and the village's Moroccan room, an aromatic change of pace with a luxurious, romantic mood that still draws the season regulars year after year. See Salama.
Best for: the guest who wants Moroccan flavours and a long-running favourite.

Tell our Saint-Tropez team the nights you care about and the group, and we point you to the right room, help with the table as a concierge courtesy where we can, and build the rest of the trip around it, the beach-club days, the pool afternoons, and the table at Les Caves du Roy after dinner. The reservation itself is direct with the venue; the plan around it is ours.
