Michelin Guide Restaurants in Saigon (2026)
The Saigon restaurants we carry that appear in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Vietnam, grouped by One Star, Green Star, Bib Gourmand and Selected.
Why we wrote this guide
Fifteen of the Saigon restaurants we carry appear in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Vietnam: six one-star kitchens, a Green Star built on a zero-waste farm-to-table menu, two Bib Gourmand rooms, and six Selected restaurants that range from a wet-market fine-dining counter to a Park Hyatt dining room facing the Opera House. This guide covers all fifteen, grouped by distinction.
The distinctions carry real weight. A star recognizes the cooking itself. A Green Star recognizes sustainable practice. A Bib Gourmand recognizes good cooking at fair value. A Selected listing places a restaurant in the guide without a star, Green Star or Bib Gourmand. This guide states each one exactly as MICHELIN does, so a Bib Gourmand or Selected room is never called starred.
Outside Las Vegas the restaurant reservation sits with the venue, not with us. What we do is point you to the right room, help you time it, and build the rest of the trip around it.

The ranked guide
1. Anan Saigon (Saigon Ward)

Anan holds one Michelin star, the first restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City to be awarded one, and sits at 89 Ton That Dam in a narrow building rising out of one of the last working wet markets in central Saigon. Chef Peter Cuong Franklin's food takes Vietnamese street dishes and rebuilds them at fine-dining scale without abandoning what they were.
The building runs across several floors: a ground-floor dining room, the Nhau Nhau cocktail bar above it, and a rooftop. Service starts at 17:00 and runs late, closed Mondays. Anan takes reservations by email.
See Anan Saigon.
Best for: the city's original Michelin star.
2. CieL (Thao Dien / An Khanh)

CieL holds one Michelin star in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Vietnam and sits on Street No. 50, off the main road in An Khanh Ward on the Thao Dien side of the river. The dining room is set inside a modern villa, and the kitchen fuses French technique with Vietnamese influence across an evolving tasting menu, cooking Michelin categorizes as Innovative.
The room is small enough that Michelin lists it as suited to a solo seat at the counter or a chef's table booking. Service runs 17:30 to 23:00, Tuesday through Sunday, closed Mondays.
See CieL.
Best for: a counter seat on a French-Vietnamese tasting menu.
3. CoCo Saigon (District 3)

CoCo Dining anchors the CoCo Saigon complex on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, on the District 3 edge of the center, and holds a Michelin star for its tasting menus built around Vietnamese culinary heritage under Chef Vuong. The room is set with black granite tables, and a kitchen counter called the Front Row gives solo diners a direct view of the cooking.
Service runs 17:30 to 23:00, seven nights. CoCo Dining takes reservations through TableCheck, confirmed instantly.
See CoCo Saigon.
Best for: a Michelin tasting menu built on Vietnamese memory.
4. Upstairs (Thao Dien / An Khanh)

Upstairs took its first Michelin star in the 2026 guide. It sits at 36 Nguyen Ba Huan in An Khanh, set above a wine bar with just four tables in the room. The kitchen is a tasting-menu operation built around Chef Hiep Truong's modern Vietnamese cooking, rooted in Central Vietnamese traditions.
Upstairs serves dinner Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 18:00 to 23:00, and adds a midday seating on Monday and Sunday from 12:00 to 15:00. It is closed Wednesday and Thursday.
See Upstairs.
Best for: the newest star in the city, in a four-table room.
5. AKUNA (Le Meridien Saigon)

AKUNA holds one Michelin star and occupies the ninth floor of Le Meridien Saigon on Ton Duc Thang, looking over the Saigon River. It is led by chef Sam Aisbett, who previously ran a Michelin-starred restaurant in Singapore, and the menu blends Australian, Japanese and international technique with Vietnamese ingredients.
Service runs 18:00 to 22:00, Tuesday to Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday. Reservations go through the restaurant's own booking page.
See AKUNA.
Best for: a river-view tasting menu from a Michelin-trained chef.
6. Long Trieu (The Reverie Saigon)

Long Trieu holds one Michelin star for Cantonese cooking and occupies the fourth floor of The Reverie Saigon, overlooking Nguyen Hue Boulevard in District 1. It has held the star for three straight years. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Angus Chan with culinary advisor Master Siu Hin Chi, working classical Cantonese dim sum, roast meats and seafood.
The dining room and its nine private rooms hold up to 200 guests. Long Trieu takes reservations through DiningCity.
See Long Trieu.
Best for: a formal Cantonese dinner or a group banquet.
7. Tales by Chapter (Tan Dinh)

Tales by Chapter holds a Michelin Green Star, awarded in the 2026 guide - the newest Green Star in Vietnam and one of only three in the country. Chefs Truong Quang Dung and Quoc Hung run a plant-based, zero-waste kitchen, sourcing seasonally from its own farm and a rooftop garden.
The room sits on Nguyen Thanh Y in Tan Dinh, in a quiet villa setting, and is deliberately intimate. Service runs 19:00 to 23:00 daily, closed Tuesdays. Reservations run through TableCheck.
See Tales by Chapter.
Best for: a plant-based, zero-waste tasting menu.
8. La Lola (Ben Thanh)

La Lola was awarded a Bib Gourmand in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide, the guide's mark for good cooking at fair value, one of five new Bib entries in the city that year. It sits on Ly Tu Trong in Ben Thanh ward, and the kitchen is Mediterranean, drawing on Chef Julio's cooking across Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Turkey and Greece.
Hours run 10:30 to 23:00, daily. La Lola takes bookings directly through its own website, confirming by phone or email for larger groups.
See La Lola.
Best for: a Bib Gourmand meal that is not Vietnamese.
9. Cuc Gach Quan (Tan Dinh)

Cuc Gach Quan occupies a restored old house on Dang Tat in Tan Dinh and has been one of the city's most-loved rooms for years. The building is the draw as much as the food: timber, tile, courtyards and small rooms instead of one open dining floor. The cooking is Vietnamese home food, made carefully and served in generous shared portions, and Cuc Gach Quan holds a Bib Gourmand distinction in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Vietnam.
Service runs 09:00 to 23:30 daily. Cuc Gach Quan takes reservations through PasGo.
See Cuc Gach Quan.
Best for: a Bib Gourmand meal of Vietnamese home cooking.
10. La Villa (An Khanh)

La Villa is in the MICHELIN Guide selection and occupies a French villa on Ngo Quang Huy in An Khanh, with a garden and a pool that the dining terrace looks over. Chef Thierry Mounon cooks neo-classic French food that keeps traditional technique and builds contemporary ideas on top of it.
Service runs 11:45 to 23:30 Thursday through Sunday, with dinner-only service from 18:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday, closed Mondays. La Villa takes reservations through the booking form on its own site.
See La Villa.
Best for: a Selected French dinner beside a pool.
11. An's Saigon (Thao Dien / An Khanh)

An's Saigon appears in the MICHELIN Guide selection for Ho Chi Minh City. It sits on Tong Huu Dinh in An Khanh, a residential street in Thao Dien, and serves Vietnamese cooking built around seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, including herbs grown on site. The dining areas are a garden and an indoor lounge, plus a Chef's Table seating eight for a set tasting menu.
Hours run 11:00 to 23:00, Tuesday through Sunday, closed Mondays, with lunch service running 11:00 to 15:00 and dinner from 17:30. Reservations run through TableCheck.
See An's Saigon.
Best for: guide-listed Vietnamese cooking at lunch.
12. Sono (Thao Dien / An Khanh)

Sono has been open in Thao Dien since 2022 and entered the MICHELIN Guide's Selected category for 2026. It sits on Nguyen Van Huong in An Khanh, down a numbered lane off the main road. The Michelin Guide describes a dimly lit dining room built around an open kitchen, with a kitchen led by chef Kien Phan working contemporary European cuisine through Vietnamese ingredients.
Thao Dien sits across the river from District 1, so this is a destination booking. Confirming the address before you set out is worth the message, since lane numbering in An Khanh is genuinely hard to navigate on arrival.
See Sono.
Best for: contemporary European cooking on a quiet Thao Dien lane.
13. Quince Saigon (Ben Thanh)

Quince occupies a restored colonial house on Ky Con in Ben Thanh and built its name on wood-fired cooking: charcoal grills and a wood-fired oven anchor the kitchen. It has been open since 2018 and appears in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Vietnam as a listed restaurant, without a star. Above the restaurant sits Madam Kew, a 1950s-styled cocktail bar with a street-facing balcony.
Quince serves dinner daily from 17:30, with last order at 21:45. It takes reservations through TableCheck.
See Quince Saigon.
Best for: wood-fired cooking with a cocktail bar upstairs.
14. Square One (Lam Son Square)

Square One is the main dining room of the Park Hyatt Saigon, on Lam Son Square directly opposite the Opera House. The menu spans both French and Vietnamese cooking side by side, with Chef Arnaud Schuttrumpf leading the French side of the kitchen. The restaurant has held a MICHELIN Guide selection every year since 2023.
Service runs 11:30 to 22:00 daily, with lunch service to 14:30 and dinner picking up again from 18:00. Reservations run through TableCheck.
See Square One.
Best for: a Selected French and Vietnamese menu opposite the Opera House.
15. Hoa Tuc (District 1)

Hoa Tuc sits in the courtyard of the former opium refinery at 74/7 Hai Ba Trung in District 1, a nineteenth-century colonial complex now given over to restaurants and bars. Hoa Tuc carries a Michelin Guide Vietnam Selected listing for 2026. The kitchen is contemporary Vietnamese, lighter and more refined than home cooking without moving into tasting-menu territory.
The courtyard is the room to book: tables sit under trees in a walled space set well back from Hai Ba Trung. Service runs 11:00 to 22:00 daily. Hoa Tuc takes reservations through PasGo.
See Hoa Tuc.
Best for: courtyard dining in a colonial-era complex.
