Glamorous Chinese dining from the team behind Jamavar on Curzon Street
MiMi Mei Fair is a glamorous Chinese restaurant from the team behind Jamavar, set inside a first-floor Georgian townhouse at 55 Curzon Street in Mayfair and imagined as the opulent residence of a fictional Empress MiMi. A Michelin Guide listing, it is one of London's most theatrical dining rooms: a maximalist fantasy of hand-painted chinoiserie, coral-lacquered doors, dragon-motif silk banquettes, ornate rococo plasterwork and tasselled chandeliers, arranged across a series of jewel-box rooms including the powder-blue Parlour and emerald salons.
The kitchen sends out elevated, luxurious Chinese cooking led by its signature apple wood-roasted Peking duck, alongside jewel-like dim sum, lobster, and refined wok classics drawing on the culinary traditions of Hong Kong, Singapore, and mainland China. The crowd is fashionable and celebratory, drawn as much by the design as the food, and private rooms make it a favorite for occasions and special-event dinners.
Reserve through OpenTable, book well ahead for weekends, and dress to match the glamour of the room.
