Baoli occupies a room at 1906 Collins Avenue in South Beach, and it does one South Beach trick especially well: a stylish dinner that slides straight into a late night without ever changing venues. The brand was born in Cannes in 2000 and opened in Miami in 2008, and the room is dressed in lush foliage, velvet chairs and tropical textures, with outside tables as well as fully enclosed seating.

Dinner service earlier gives way to handcrafted cocktails, bottle service, live performances and resident and guest DJs into the early hours, so the energy keeps climbing as the night runs on. The kitchen, led by chefs Gustavo and Maximiliano Vertone, blends coastal French Mediterranean flavors with East Asian techniques, and the dishes are designed to be shared. Dinner is open to guests of all ages, while the bar is 21 and over. To catch the dinner-into-nightlife shift, an earlier seating Wednesday through Saturday lands you settled before the DJ sets ramp up.
There is a smart dress code at all times. Ladies should avoid overly revealing clothing, beach attire and fitness wear, and gentlemen should leave sportswear, sneakers, tank tops, flip-flops, hats and shorts at home, so dress for a night out.
