Coral Gables steakhouse in the former Fiola Miami space, sister to Daniel's in Fort Lauderdale
Daniel's Miami brings the classic steakhouse night to Coral Gables without the stuffiness, a room kept lively for deal-makers, date nights, and dressed-up groups. It occupies the former Fiola Miami space at 1500 San Ignacio Avenue, with lunch Tuesday through Friday and brunch on Sundays alongside dinner.
The restaurant is the sister concept to the MICHELIN Guide-recommended Daniel's, A Florida Steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale, with culinary director Danny Ganem leading the kitchen. The refurbished dining room is dressed with iconic artwork, while The Bar at Daniel's Miami keeps its own menu and TVs for a more relaxed night, with a double patty smash burger and the signature cacio e pepe. Happy hour runs 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday.
The kitchen is steak-forward but broad, with fresh local seafood and classic Italian dishes alongside beef from producers such as Stone Axe Wagyu, Margaret River Wagyu Beef, and North Florida's Suwannee River Wagyu. Plates to know include the Florida Blue Crab Cake, the Australian hanger steak, the Maine Lobster Mac and Cheese, and Sullivan Street sourdough with sheep's milk ricotta, honey, and thyme.
There is a real dress code, no shorts of any kind, tank tops, flip flops, open-toed sandals for men, or baseball caps in the dining room or the bar, so plan the outfit.
