It is the San Diego address of Akira Back, the Korea-born, Aspen-raised former pro snowboarder who traded the halfpipe for the line under Nobu Matsuhisa and now runs a global portfolio of namesake rooms, with Michelin recognition for his Dosa concept in Seoul and London.
