Seryna Honten · Restaurant · Tokyo

Kobe beef and crab shabu-shabu across three floors in Roppongi, from a house founded in 1961
Seryna Honten is the flagship of Seryna, the shabu-shabu house founded in 1961, and fills three floors at 3-12-2 Roppongi, a minute on foot from Exit 5 of Roppongi Station on the Oedo line. It specializes in Kobe beef and crab shabu-shabu alongside seasonal Japanese cooking, and it is a designated registered outlet for Kobe beef.
The ground floor holds the entrance, a lounge and 46 table seats. The second floor adds 42 seats and four private rooms named Sakura, Fuji, Tsubaki and Momiji for four to six guests, and the third floor has 52 seats and seven more private rooms for two to sixteen. The restaurant pitches the house at business entertaining, anniversaries and family gatherings, with lunch served daily as well.
Kobe beef shabu-shabu and Kobe beef sukiyaki lead the menu, joined by a combined wagyu and crab shabu-shabu, a charcoal-grilled Kobe beef sirloin and whole hairy crab. The Seryna course runs from yuba and half a boiled hairy crab through broiled cod or fried stuffed crab to Kobe beef shabu-shabu, while the Shikisai course pairs sashimi and a seasonal selection with the shabu-shabu. At lunch, an ishiyaki steak is cooked on a hot stone.
Seryna Honten is open every day, for lunch from noon with last orders at 2:30pm and for dinner from 5pm, with last orders at 10pm on weekdays and 9:30pm on weekends and holidays. Online booking covers tables for up to eight; larger parties book with the restaurant directly.
