Yakiniku Ushigoro Nishiazabu · Restaurant · Tokyo

The Ushigoro flagship on the ground floor of Barbizon73 in Nishi-Azabu, serving A5 wagyu yakiniku.
Yakiniku Ushigoro Nishiazabu is the flagship of the Ushigoro yakiniku restaurants, on the ground floor of the Barbizon73 building in Nishi-Azabu, six minutes on foot from Nogizaka Station and eight from Roppongi. It opened in April 2011, the kitchen buys only A5-rank Japanese Black wagyu, and it is listed in Tabelog's Grill TOKYO 100 for 2026.
The room seats 73 across open tables, four semi-private rooms and one fully private room for up to eight. The house describes the space as calm and chic, with sofa seating among the tables.
The menu is organized by cut, from a special wagyu selection through marbled and lean cuts to wagyu sashimi and organs. Kiwami no Tan is sliced thin from the root of the tongue, and zabuton chuck flap is seared sukiyaki style and served with egg yolk and a bite of rice. Thick-cut sirloin comes with smoked soy sauce, salt or grated daikon ponzu, and Chateaubriand is offered with garlic soy or the house tare. From the raw side come Ushigoro yukke and seared chuck-flap nigiri, and the beef fillet cutlet sandwich is a house favorite. Four set courses cover the range for tables that want the kitchen to choose.
The restaurant is open every day of the year, from 16:00 on weekdays and from 11:30 on weekends and holidays, until 23:30 with last orders at 22:30. Tables are held for two hours.
