Onyx is the big-room flagship of the RCA strip, one of the clubs that helped make Bangkok's Royal City Avenue a nightlife destination. It placed on DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs list in multiple years from 2017 through 2021, a mark of its standing among the region's commercial EDM rooms. The main stage runs full production, with balconies overlooking the floor and a crowd that packs in on a peak night.
The production leans into scale: a powerful sound system, a large LED screen and stage lighting built for a big room, with VIP booths around the floor for groups that want a vantage point above the crowd.
Musically it runs commercial EDM, house and electro, pulling touring DJs through the RCA strip on a regular basis. This is mainstage clubbing, loud and unapologetic, built around the drop.
