Best Restaurants in Saint-Tropez 2026
A ranked guide to the best restaurants in Saint-Tropez for 2026, and how to plan the tables and the trip.
Why we wrote this guide
Dinner in Saint-Tropez is its own event. The village runs on a tight cluster of rooms that fill weeks ahead in July and August, and the range is remarkable for a town this size: two Michelin-starred dining rooms, an Alain Ducasse Italian and a Paris Society seafood room, a global-marquee Greek arrival, and a handful of port institutions that have anchored the same quays for generations. This is our ranked guide to the best restaurants in Saint-Tropez for 2026, the rooms our guests ask for most when they plan the dinners around a beach-club day or a night at Les Caves du Roy. Last updated September 2026.
A note on how booking works here: outside Las Vegas we do not book restaurant tables. What we give you is the shortlist worth your time, the word on where each one books, and our Saint-Tropez partner, who points you to the right room, then builds the beach clubs, pool days, and nights around the dinners.
The ranked guide
1. La Vague d'Or
The trophy table of Saint-Tropez, and by most measures the best restaurant in the town. Inside the Cheval Blanc maison on the water's edge, chef Arnaud Donckele holds three Michelin stars in the 2026 Guide with a Mediterranean cuisine built around sauces and Provencal produce. This is the destination dinner, dinner only, and it books far ahead. See La Vague d'Or.
Best for: the once-a-trip, no-expense-spared celebration dinner.
2. Colette
The other Michelin-starred room in town, one star at the design-forward Hotel Sezz out on the route des Salins. Contemporary Mediterranean cooking, plant-forward and garden-driven, in a serious, understated room set slightly apart from the crush of the port. See Colette.
Best for: the fine-dining night that trades the scene for the food.
3. Gaia Saint-Tropez
The buzziest arrival on the dining map, the Saint-Tropez outpost of chef Izu Ani's marquee contemporary-Greek group, sister to the Gaia we feature in Dubai. Set in the gardens of La Tartane, it is all sea bream carpaccio, baked feta, and grilled calamari beside the pool, open to the sky. See Gaia.
Best for: the see-and-be-seen Mediterranean dinner with a pedigree.
4. La Petite Plage
The Vieux Port's most seductive room, with a menu signed by Eric Frechon, and a front-line terrace that turns into a lounge with a DJ as the night goes on. See La Petite Plage.
Best for: dinner on the port that slides straight into the night.
5. Noto
The festive Italian flagship on the harbor, chef Emilio Giagnoni's southern-Italian room that comes alive with live music and a DJ into the small hours, so dinner slides straight into the night. See Noto.
Best for: the big, celebratory Italian dinner that becomes the night out.
6. Cherry
Italian cooking with a New York accent, in a discreet, kitchen-forward room. Dinner only. See Cherry.
Best for: the serious Italian kitchen over a scene.
7. La Ponche
The restaurant of the Bardot-era five-star Hotel La Ponche, above the Vieux Port. Michelin-listed, market-led Mediterranean cooking in a room that never raises its voice. See La Ponche.
Best for: a quiet, ingredient-led dinner away from the port bustle.
8. Kinugawa
Open-air Japanese dining among the pines in Ramatuelle, on the Saint-Tropez peninsula, the summer outpost of the long-running Paris name. Precise, calm, a genuine change of pace. See Kinugawa.
Best for: the night you want sushi and quiet precision.
9. Le Girelier
A Vieux Port institution of more than fifty years, the classic Saint-Tropez address for bouillabaisse and the plateau de fruits de mer, with a prime old-port terrace. See Le Girelier.
Best for: the traditional Provencal seafood lunch or dinner on the port.
10. Senequier
Less a restaurant than a Saint-Tropez landmark, the red-terrace cafe-brasserie on the Vieux Port since 1930 and the most photographed spot in town, for day-to-night people-watching over the harbor. See Senequier.
Best for: the iconic port cafe, from morning coffee to a late drink.
11. Monsieur Dior
The fashion house's own garden restaurant off Place des Lices, its dining overseen by Mauro Colagreco of the three-star Mirazur. A tasting-menu setting inside the Dior world, seasonal and garden-driven. See Monsieur Dior.
Best for: the novelty of a Dior garden dinner with a three-star chef's approach.
How to choose, fast
How the booking works
Saint-Tropez dining books out fast in high season, and the best rooms go weeks ahead for July and August. Tell our Saint-Tropez partner the nights you care about and the group, and they point you to where each room books, and build the rest of the trip around it, the beach-club days, the pool afternoons, and the table at Les Caves du Roy after dinner. The dinner reservation itself sits with the restaurant; the plan around it is ours.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best restaurant in Saint-Tropez?
By most measures it is La Vague d'Or at Cheval Blanc, which holds three Michelin stars in the 2026 Guide. Colette at Hotel Sezz is the other starred room. For the buzziest marquee dinners, Gaia and La Petite Plage lead, and Noto is the festive Italian that turns into the night.
Which Saint-Tropez restaurants have a Michelin star?
Two: La Vague d'Or (three stars) and Colette at Hotel Sezz (one star), both in the 2026 Guide. The rest of this list earns its place on setting, pedigree, and demand, not a star.
How far in advance should I book dinner in Saint-Tropez?
For July and August, weeks ahead, and the starred rooms further still. Holiday and regatta weekends go first. Tell us your dates early and we help you land the tables and build the days around them.
Do I book the restaurant through MyRSVP?
Outside Las Vegas we do not book restaurant tables, so the reservation is direct with the venue (several have their own booking page or platform). Our Saint-Tropez partner points you to where each one books, and handles the beach clubs, pool days, and nightlife around your dinners.
