Estiatorio Milos is Costas Spiliadis's Greek seafood landmark, the London chapter of a story he has told since Montreal in 1979. Inside the former British Columbia House at 1 Regent Street near Piccadilly Circus, it draws London for pristine whole fish, a power lunch, or a celebration.
The space is grand and high-ceilinged, in a restored 1915 listed building. The design is the group signature: marble, light wood, Grecian urns, and crisp white linen against darker accents. Its centerpiece is the fish market, a crushed-ice raw-bar counter where the day's catch sits on marble slabs; guests walk it, choose their fish, and pick how it is cooked.
The move is whole fish by weight, simply grilled: lavraki, fagri, and the day's arrivals. Start with the Milos Special of lightly fried courgette and eggplant with kefalograviera cheese and tzatziki, grilled octopus, and a raw bar that runs to Bluefin tuna sashimi and tartare. The Greek salad on house-ripened tomatoes is a point of pride, and Nova Scotia lobster astakomakaronada, Athenian lobster pasta, is the indulgent main. Finish with baklava, karidopita walnut cake, or thick yogurt with spoon sweets and thyme honey. Milos holds no Michelin star; it is a landmark seafood room, priced in the top London seafood tier.
