MJBizCon 2026: the week Las Vegas is doubled up
December 1-4, 2026 · Las Vegas Convention Center · 30,000 attendees · Cannabis
MJBizCon brings around 30,000 people to the Las Vegas Convention Center from December 1 to 4, and it shares the week with AWS re:Invent and its sixty thousand. That is ninety thousand people across two shows in one week, which is the single most important thing to know when booking anything. Our Las Vegas team books the dinners and the tables after them.
You are not the only show in town, and it matters
MJBizCon and AWS re:Invent occupy the same days. Ninety thousand people between them, at opposite ends of the Strip, competing for the same restaurants and the same tables on the same nights. Most MJBizCon planning ignores this and then discovers it on the Tuesday. Book earlier than the headcount suggests, because you are effectively booking into a ninety-thousand-person week rather than a thirty-thousand one.
When people are actually in town
Most of the floor lands on the Monday, with exhibitors in earlier to build stands. The show closes Friday and a large share flies home that afternoon, so Friday is optional even though it is the strongest night of the week on paper. Tuesday through Thursday is where the business happens.
Where to eat from the convention center
MJBizCon sits at the LVCC on the north end, and the useful thing about that is Fontainebleau directly across the street. It holds the deepest cluster at this end of the Strip and we book five of them: Komodo and Papi Steak when the dinner should have some noise to it, Don's Prime and Mother Wolf when it should not, and Cantina Contramar for something lighter. Resorts World is the other short walk, where Carversteak seats a group properly and Fuhu is the louder room in the same building. Wynn adds SW Steakhouse and Delilah if the dinner is meant to land, and Mizumi if it wants quiet.
Taking clients out after dinner
MJBizCon shares its week with AWS re:Invent, which matters here more than anywhere else on the page: ninety thousand people across two shows are competing for the same tables on the same nights. Tuesday is the strongest night inside the show itself, with Steve Aoki at Omnia. Wednesday brings DJ Franzen to Hakkasan. Friday is heavier still but most of the hall has flown home by then. The night-by-night picks below are the ones worth planning around; if you want the full list for the nights you are in town, our Las Vegas events calendar lists every venue.
Groups
The bookings we make most that week are private rooms for twenty to sixty and reserved nightclub sections, usually with a hard start because everyone has a stand to open in the morning. We arrange transportation between the hall, the restaurant and the hotel so the group arrives together rather than in six rides. Larger buildouts and full buyouts we will place with the right room, and the budget is the useful place to start.
If a nightclub is not the answer
If you are after something other than a club, say so. The Mayfair Supper Club turns dinner into the evening without anyone having to move. And if you would rather have a speakeasy or a live music bar, tell us the group and we are happy to steer you in the right direction and make recommendations.
Where to eat, by where your day ends
Across the street at Fontainebleau — the closest cluster to the convention center, and the deepest
Resorts World — a shorter walk still, if the group wants a steakhouse

Frequently asked questions
When and where is MJBizCon 2026?
December 1 to 4, 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with roughly 30,000 attendees from the cannabis industry.
Is MJBizCon the same week as AWS re:Invent?
Yes. re:Invent occupies November 30 to December 4 across four properties, putting roughly 90,000 people in town across the two shows. Book earlier than a 30,000-person show would normally require.
Where should we eat near the Las Vegas Convention Center during MJBizCon?
Carversteak at Resorts World is the shortest walk of anything worth booking, and Fuhu is the louder room in the same building. Wynn is across the way for SW Steakhouse and Delilah, and Golden Steer off-Strip takes a large table well.
What is on at night during MJBizCon week?
Steve Aoki plays Omnia on the Tuesday and DJ Franzen is at Hakkasan on the Wednesday. Friday December 4 is the heaviest night, with Alesso at Omnia, Kaskade at XS and Knock2 at LIV, though most of the hall flies out that day. Lineups move, so check our Las Vegas events calendar.
What is on while you are here
