World of Concrete 2027: steak, cars, and a two-show week

World of Concrete takes the North, Central and South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Silver and Bronze Lots outside, with exhibits January 19 to 21 and education starting Monday the 18th. SHOT Show starts that same Tuesday across the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum, so the city is carrying two big trade shows at once. Our Las Vegas team sets up the rides to and from the halls, the dinner reservations, and the night out after.
Two shows, the same Tuesday
SHOT Show opens on January 19 too, at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum, and stays a day longer. By each organizer's count for 2026, World of Concrete drew more than 47,400 registered professionals and SHOT Show more than 53,000, so this week puts upward of a hundred thousand trade visitors in town together, in different parts of the Strip. They are not walking the same floors. They are booking the same steakhouses at the same hour, and that is what makes this week harder than a construction show would usually be.
Monday is a holiday and an education day
Education starts on Monday January 18, which is also Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so anyone flying in for the first sessions lands at the end of a three-day weekend rather than a quiet Sunday. Exhibits open Tuesday and close Thursday afternoon. Tuesday and Wednesday are the evenings that matter, and Thursday night is when most people head home.
Where to eat when the halls let out
None of the restaurants we arrange is inside the halls World of Concrete uses, so every dinner starts with a short ride, and the direction is a matter of taste. Toward the Strip, Fontainebleau sits beside West Hall with Don's Prime and Papi Steak for steak, Mother Wolf for Roman pasta and Komodo for something louder. Carversteak and Fuhu are at Resorts World on the other side of the Strip. A little farther south, Wynn and Encore add SW Steakhouse, Sartiano's and Casa Playa. Out on Sahara Avenue, Maroon at SAHARA is Kwame Onwuachi's Caribbean steakhouse with a jerk pit, and Golden Steer has been a West Sahara steakhouse since 1958.
The nights out
January lineups are thin this far out, and this week shows it. The one named act inside World of Concrete so far is DJ Franzen at Hakkasan on the Wednesday. Tuesday and Thursday have only the clubs' regular house nights posted. If you are staying through Friday, the day after the show closes, Fisher plays Omnia and Metro Boomin is at LIV. Names get added as the date approaches, so look at our Las Vegas events calendar the week before you fly.
Crew dinners and dealer groups
If you are bringing a crew or hosting a dealer dinner, a handful of rooms near the halls take a real group. Komodo has semi-private space for up to seventy-five, Carversteak's Garden room seats sixty-six, and Golden Steer's private dining takes up to sixty. Buyouts we will place; open with the headcount and the budget. Every restaurant on this list is a ride from the floor, so the ground transportation is booked alongside the dinner and nobody is left looking for a car outside South Hall.
Not a club night
After three days on concrete, plenty of groups would rather sit down than stand at a table. Delilah at Wynn puts live entertainment into dinner itself, and a long steak dinner at Golden Steer is an evening on its own. Tell us what the group is like and we will suggest a bar that fits.
